Melissa Carey

Melissa Carey is a Real Estate Agent, Photographer and Entrepreneur.
Mother of four, Melissa has loved to be in business since she was 18.  She and her now husband, Jorge,  started “Melpo´s”, a candy distribution company when they were still students.  After they got married, they opened their first restaurant, “Mykono´s, the House of Gyro”, which became a successful five-restaurant chain.  
Melissa has spent her life between Guatemala and the United States, countries of origin of her parents.

When her children were very young, Melissa worked as a free-lance professional photographer.  Melissa strongly believes that Motherhood can be shared with professional work. Not only is it a good example for children, but it is an important support for a family. When not running around looking for beautiful properties for her clients, Melissa is working on a computer or attending meetings as CEO of Action Environmental Services, a boutique pest control family business.   
When in Guatemala, Melissa gets involved with her mothers family specialty coffee, farming and business.
